Sheffield’s famous ‘Man with a Pram’ has raised more than £1 million for Macmillan in memory of his late wife and daughter.

ITV regional news programmes asked viewers to nominate exceptional fundraisers in their area.
Regional winners were selected by judges from each ITV region, then the Pride of Britain judges had the tough task of choosing an overall ITV Fundraiser of the Year, John Burkhill.
Known in Sheffield as ‘The Man With The Pram’ John, 84, reached the million pound fundraising mark in May after years walking the streets of the city with his trademark pram and green wig.
He has also taken part in more than 1,000 races, including the Great North Run in September.
John started fundraising after the death of his wife to cancer in 1993, which came a year to the day after his daughter Karen died due to complications from a routine procedure.
